Bruce Eng is currently an international expert in smart manufacturing at Air Liquide.

He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rice University and has worked at Air Liquide for 14 years as a process engineer, a manager of operator training simulation, and as an advanced process control engineer.

Some of Bruce’s impacts in the Smart Manufacturing domain include: creating a dynamic simulation platform and several operator training simulators; modernizing an oxygen pipeline RTO; leading an effort to select Yokogawa PACE as the new standard for multivariable process control at Air Liquide and supporting the deployment of PACE in 5 countries; and recently designing a scripting language and platform for procedural automation and supporting its deployment at several sites.

He is also a licensed professional engineer, holds a patent in HyCO technology and is a member of the ISA-106 Procedure Automation for Continuous Process Operations committee.
